Maja Kristina has no intention of fast-tracking her into the upper echelon of pop music. Raised in Sweden, inspired by the influx of strong, independently poised women currently dominating pop music, and already responsible for a wave of unshakable singles, the road to 2020 signals a peak in confidence and clarity for one Stockholm’s most enigmatic prospects of the past decade.
With her debut EP enroute and a formal alliance with Republic Records in play, the young and talented artist/ songwriter needs little encouragement where taking center stage is concerned.
Quietly amassing 5 million total streams with her first single “No Fake Love” in a few months’ time, landing a deal with Republic Records in 2018, and turning heads on both sides of the pond, the 21-year-old Swedish songstress cultivated a sound with honest lyrics, personal songwriting and hypnotic hooks.
“It’s about a relationship I was in that was very destructive,” she admits. “I became codependent on the negative affection I got. He confirmed what I thought of myself at the moment though. I eventually recognized and realized there was nothing wrong with me; I was just dating an idiot. That’s fine, if you are, but you need to love yourself more than that and say, ‘Enough is enough. I deserve better’.”
As she prepares her debut EP for 2020, Maja has a lot to say: “When you listen to me, I just want you to feel something. It could be you walk away empowered, heartbroken, angry, or absolutely euphoric. Life is like that.

‘The Nashville Calling` is the title of the soon to be released ninth studio album by Irish artist Ben Reel. Produced by Will Kimbrough and Tommy Womack and featuring Garry W Tallent on bass from the legendary E Street Band. The album contains eleven new tracks all written
by Ben Reel. It was recorded at Skinny Elephant Studios in Nashville. This album was done and dusted in just three days with all live takes. Following the critically acclaimed experimental slow burner `Land of Escape’ from 2018, this new record has a more Americana, rootsy rock, live band feel.
Since his debut album `This Is the Movie’ back in 1999, Ben has reinvented himself from album to album, influenced by different styles of music over the years.
As one critic said,” He’s not afraid to throw in some folk, soul, reggae vibes, which in turn call to mind John Hiatt at his best". Another describes him as “somewhere in the middle ground between rock and jazz or a sound that is sometimes reminiscent of Dylan and the Band”.
In a solo career which now spans over twenty years, Ben has received worldwide critical acclaim with numerous high profile TV/Radio appearances like BBC, RTE and Dutch NPO Radio. Supporting Jools Holland, Alabama 3 & The Cranberries and he has collaborated musically with such names as Hal Ketchum & The Blockheads. He has co written and performed live with his fellow countryman Tony McLoughlin and some of Nashville's finest such as David Olney & Irene Kelley.
In the past Ben was selected to play an official showcase at Folk Alliance in Memphis TN and has toured as double bill with Tommy Womack (Nashville) in the U.S & UK and also with legendary American folk singer/songwriter Eric Andersen in the UK & NL. While in Nashville he was invited to play the famous Bluebird cafe on a number of occasions, most recently Sept 2018.
Over the last ten years Ben has enjoyed successful tours in Ireland, UK, Europe & U.S.A, receiving rave reviews and attracting a growing loyal fan base. Terrorists Of Romance is the name that Vanessa Salvi, an Italian/Norwegian songwriter and artist, gave to her music project.
The debut album has been released on September 13. The first two singles, ‘Always Choose Wrong’ and “Shine for Me” are available in all digital platforms.
The album is titled ‘After you left’ and is dedicated to her father, who died in 2010. It forms an anthology in which Vanessa reveals some of her life stories with a touch of ironic romanticism and in which she also confesses her anxiety for being a mother (as in the song ‘My Little Man’).
This work consists of 11 themes, they were composed in 2018 and produced in 2019 by renowned producer Manuel Colmenero. The official presentation of the album will take place in Barcelona during the month of October, and in Madrid in December.
The songs move between different styles, but they all follow a common thread: alternative rock. The musical references of Vanessa are: Florence and the Machine, Elle King, Sharon Van Etten, among others.
‘Terrorists Of Romance’ is, in reality, the title of a song written by the artist years ago, but which has ended up being the final name of her musical project. Vanessa explains that it came from a thought “Actually, I was thinking about the innumerable ways in which a person can sabotage their sentimental relationships without even being aware of it. I guess most of us have been there … “
Eugene Ebner is a trained vocalist and songwriter who has danced on stage with entertainment legend Diana Ross numerous times, performed in front of the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, has shared the stage with Broadway stars Annaleigh Ashford, Beth Malone and Alice Ripley and has sung the national anthem three times at Colorado Rockies games for over 25,000 people. He recently was a featured vocalist at Carnegie Hall, Don't Tell Mama, The Laurie Beechman Theater and in the new musical "Mommie Dearest" by Christina Crawford and David Nehls at the infamous Birdland Jazz Club and is an experienced TV host and interviewer. Jeremy Stolle is a recording artist and concert singer currently in the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera. Recently, Jeremy starred in the brand-new Disney theatricals pre-Broadway production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, directed by Scott Schwartz and written by Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, and Peter Parnil. He also appears as Jehan on the original cast recording of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Denise Gentilini is a three time Emmy® award winning composer with nearly 30 years of experience writing music for film. Using her music for social justice, Denise focuses on writing music with intention. New York City-based singer/songwriter and cabaret sensation Eugene Ebner and Broadway powerhouse vocalist Jeremy Stolle (Phantom of the Opera) team up and release a new original song called "Angel," produced by Emmy Award-winning composer Denise Gentilini.
This inspiring ballad was originally written in honor of Eugene's mother, who passed away from cancer many years ago. "Angel" is a song that anyone can dedicate to someone they love or miss.
Eugene grew up in a home that was filled with music and singing. His mother Peggy was an opera singer and music teacher. Eugene saw his first Broadway show with his mother, which happened to be Phantom of the Opera. Eugene says, "Seeing Phantom with my mom as a child was beyond magical. It has always been my absolute favorite. My mother passed away on January 16, 1997. I was in college pursuing a vocal performance degree. I was shattered. I felt like my biggest fan and best friend was gone. It took me years to heal. "Angel" was written during my healing process. I was driving in the car numerous years ago, missing my mom and the melody and lyrics to the chorus just came through me. I pulled the car over and recorded the melody and wrote down the lyrics as they flowed through me. It was magic."
"I knew in my heart that this song was meant to be out there in a bigger way, yet I wasn't sure when or how. My husband and I decided to move to the east coast in the summer of 2018 to expand our entertainment careers. I began producing my own cabaret shows and networking in NYC. I met Jeremy Stolle through our dear friend Elizabeth Welch, who also happens to be in Phantom on Broadway. Jeremy is a brilliant vocalist, musician and producer. I sent him the song and asked his thoughts and if he would like to collaborate and release "Angel" as a duet. He said "yes" - and here we are. I knew that we had to work with my friend, producer Denise Gentilini. We had previously recorded a solo version of "Angel" and I enjoyed working and creating with her very much. I truly believe in timing. Some may call it divine timing or synchronicity. I know that the time is nowto release "Angel" to the world with the hope that it will uplift and help others. My mother would be thrilled, especially that I am creating with Jeremy and Denise, two humble, talented and loving individuals. We will see where it goes. Here we come 2020 !"
